His path in football started long ago and was something that came into fruition through the help of a rock solid support structure that started with his family. Throughout the years spent playing football, Jas has been recognized for his effort on the gridiron through various awards and scholarships. Jas spent over a year volunteering as a member of the Delta Police Community Volunteer Program. He is still volunteering for Kids Play, a non-for profit organization started by VPD officer Kal Dosanjh. Besides volunteering, he is involved with the football program at the University of British Columbia where he essentially offers knowledge and advice to student athletes regarding balancing both school and sports, fitness and football training, and as well as being a mentor to some up and coming athletes who are hoping to prosper in both school and football.
