He is a father of three and his happily married to his wife, who also works in the health care sector.

With over two decades of experience in the health care sector, Lageri has served as an MRI Technologist across various provinces, including pivotal roles at Vancouver Coastal Health and as Manager of False Creek Diagnostic Center. Outside of his professional experience, Lageri is a dedicated community advocate, having served on various Boards including, the BC Community Response Network, Surrey Hospice Society and the Surrey Ethics Commissioner Selection Committee.

Aron Lageri epitomizes unwavering commitment as a distinguished candidate for the BC United party in Vancouver-Kensington, seamlessly merging a profound professional trajectory with steadfast community engagement.

Originating from a lineage rooted in Punjab, India, Aron’s academic journey commenced at the esteemed All India Institute of Medical Sciences, culminating in a Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Sciences. Embracing the allure of Canada’s skilled immigration system at the time, he embarked on a transformative journey, further augmenting his expertise with a graduate program in MRI Scanning Technology & Informatics Administration from the revered Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences, affiliated with the University of Toronto. Additionally, Aron has also obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Sciences from AdventHealth University in Florida.

Aron has practiced the MRI Technologist profession in various provinces throughout Canada, from being a MRI Technologist with Vancouver Coastal Health all the way to being the Manager of False Creek Diagnostic Center. With an ardent dedication to senior care, he pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Long Term Care Administration from Saint Joseph College, Maine, complemented by running a Facebook page dedicated to seniors and their well-being. With over 22 years of experience in the Healthcare industry, Aron presently volunteers at the Canadian Association of Practice Advisory Councils – Professional Practice Advisory Committee in MRI.

As a pillar of the community, Aron has immigrated to Canada approximately three decades ago and started his professional journey in this country. He is married with three children. His eldest son is a graduate from Simon Fraser University’s School of Mechatronic Systems Engineering, his daughter is studying to become a Registered Nurse at Vancouver Island University, and his youngest son is in Grade 9. His wife is also in Healthcare and works with seniors at a long-term care center.

Over the years, Aron has mentored, coached, and taught in the field of Medical Radiation Sciences and has shared his expertise with upcoming MRI Technologists and Healthcare workers. More recently, Aron has ventured into Real Estate, seamlessly integrating his passion for service with housing solutions. He has once again served on the Governance Committee of the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board. His community advocacy extends beyond healthcare, having served on various boards in the past, including the BC Community Response Network and Surrey Hospice Society. Aron has also served on the Surrey Ethics Commisioner Selection Committee.

Aron has always advocated for community engagement and has been vocal on issues impacting Canadians. Aron has amplified voices on pertinent issues through a radio platform, fostering dialogue on healthcare, education, and community safety. He envisions a participative society, where collective action shapes a brighter future. With an unwavering commitment to community prosperity, Aron is eagerly looking forward to engage and actively participate in the community to build a fair and prosperous society.
