International ZUMBA® Finalist Tamás Zsolnai Leads Award‑Recognized Charity Masterclass with 100% Proceeds Donated to Pacific Autism Family Network
VANCOUVER, BC — July 22, 2026 — During the excitement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final weekend, Vancouver celebrated more than sport. On July 18, 2026, the city’s officially proclaimed “Dance For Impact Day” brought together hundreds of community members for 2026 ZUMBA FOR LOVE, raising $6,387.77 CAD in support of autism inclusion.
Organizers confirmed that 100% of proceeds were donated directly to the Pacific Autism Family Network (PAFN), reinforcing the event’s commitment to financial transparency and measurable social impact.
The fundraiser took place at the historic Japanese Hall in Vancouver and was headlined by Tamás Zsolnai, Hungary’s only finalist in the prestigious ZUMBA® Next Rising Presenter and Finalist In a rare philanthropic gesture, Zsolnai donated his Canadian debut masterclass in full support of the cause.
The event was hosted by ZIN® Quan Guo, Founder of GQ Dance, alongside ZJ Ana Ibarra and ZES Pinky Wang, drawing participants ranging in age from 17 to over 70 years old.
Official Civic and National Recognition
Earlier this year, the City of Vancouver officially proclaimed July 18, 2026 as “Dance For Impact Day.” The proclamation was issued by Mayor Ken Sim on behalf of Vancouver City Council, with support from Deputy Mayor Sarah Kirby‑Yung and Councillors Lenny Zhou and Lisa Dominato.

Funds raised will support PAFN’s JET Program (Jobs, Education, Training) — an evidence-based initiative that strengthens employment pathways for autistic youth and young adults across British Columbia.

The celebration extended into a second day on July 19, when families gathered at the Pacific Autism Family Network Richmond campus for a Free Indoor FIFA Final Watching Carnival. The inclusive event featured live match viewing, family activities, community engagement, and special appearances by Richmond Mayor Malcolm Brodie and Councillor Andy Hobbs.
