Surrey, BC – On March 7, 2025, the BC-India Business Network (BCIBN) hosted a remarkable Women’s Day 2025 celebration at Dream Banquet Hall, Surrey. The event brought together an impressive lineup of women leaders, entrepreneurs, and community advocates to honor and empower women across industries.
The highlight of the event was the keynote speech by Hon. Niki Sharma, Deputy Premier & Attorney General of BC, who emphasized the importance of women’s leadership in shaping a more inclusive and progressive society. In her powerful address, she shared insights on breaking barriers, fostering opportunities, and ensuring equal representation for women in business, politics, and beyond.
The event also featured a closing keynote by Sajedeh Zaki, a renowned slam poet, whose stirring words resonated deeply with the audience, celebrating the resilience and strength of women.
