Raga Echoes Presents OSTād’sA Cinematic Instrumental Concert Where East Meets West

Vancouver, BC – February 9, 2026 — Following two inaugural shows last year, Raga Echoes returns with a bold new concept, OSTād’s, an Indo-Western instrumental music experience that reimagines iconic film scores through the lens of Indian classical instrumentation.

Taking place on Friday, March 13 at Alliance Française Vancouver at 7:00 PM, this one-night-only concert invites audiences into a cinematic, cross-cultural journey, blending the emotional power of Western soundtrack classics with the timeless soul of sitar, tabla, sarod, piano, and violin. WHAT IS OSTād’s?

The name is a poetic fusion of “OST” (Original Soundtrack) and “Ustad” (master) symbolizing mastery over cinematic sound and the reimagining of film music through Indian artistry with a blend of western instruments. The result is a sonic bridge between cultures, where familiar melodies become something entirely new.

Audiences can expect transformative arrangements of scores and songs by Hans Zimmer, Coldplay, Interstellar, La La Land, and more, all interpreted by master musicians through traditional Indian classical and Western instruments.

This is not just a concert. It’s an immersive, story-driven musical experience that transcends borders and speaks to the universal power of sound.

Each performance is directed by Raga Echoes’ acclaimed creative director Glen D’Mello (CEO of SHIAMAK Group of Companies), known for merging stagecraft and emotion with stunning effect. The production will be elegant, cinematic, and intimate. A rare chance to experience global music reimagined through the East.
