Speak up. Stay safe. Stay anonymous. Your information could stop a crime, save a life,or bring justice—with no risk to you. When you share what you know, you’re helpingmake our communities stronger, safer, and more secure for everyone.

Members of the public often have information that could help solve crimes but are
reluctant to contact the police. They may witness suspicious activity or hear something
concerning but hesitate, thinking it’s not important enough to report—or they simply
don’t want to be identified.

Since 1984, Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers has offered a safe, anonymous way for
people to report what they know. Tips received are passed on to police and other law
enforcement agencies across communities from Powell River to Boston Bar. These tips
have led to over 8,400 arrests and the recovery of more than half a billion dollars in
property and drugs.

Crime Stoppers is not the police—it’s a bridge between the public and law enforcement,
providing a way for people to share what they know without fear. In today’s world of
gang violence, illegal weapons, and drug crime, your tip could make a real difference.

Every year, thousands take that step and anonymously help make communities safer.
Your identity is never known. We don’t record calls or collect personal information. You’ll
never be asked for your name or to testify in court. And if your tip leads to an arrest or
charge, you could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000.

If you have information about a crime, you can contact Crime Stoppers 24/7 in 115
languages at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can also submit tips online at solvecrime.ca
or use the P3 Tips mobile app.
