The Team BC Provincial Wrestling team returned triumphant from the 2025 Jurassic Classic and Dino Cup held in Calgary over the weekend, solidifying their reputation as one of the strongest wrestling teams in Canada. The event featured an individual tournament on the first day and a team tournament on the second, bringing together athletes from across the country, including BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Newfoundland, Yukon Territory, and the Northwest Territories.
Leadership and Support
The team was led by head coaches Gurjot Kooner and Sukhan Chahal, with the support of assistant coach Jess Tang and physiotherapist Vic Sanghera from River District Physio. Their leadership and expertise played a pivotal role in guiding the team to outstanding results.
