Vancouver, BC – On June 15, 2025, the Vancouver Japanese Language School came alive with energy, music, and movement as the “Zumba For Love” charity event brought together more than 200 participants in support of the BC Cancer Foundation.
Organized by the Vancouver Young Volunteer Association, the event featured a dynamic 90-minute Zumba session led by internationally acclaimed instructor Quan Guo, founder of GQ Dance, alongside a team of ten talented instructors. The event opened at 2:00 PM with refreshments and networking, followed by the main session from 2:30 to 4:00 PM.
Attendees of all skill levels participated in the session, uniting their efforts to raise awareness and funds for cancer research and care. The event served as a platform for community engagement, highlighting the power of fitness and collective action in supporting critical healthcare initiatives.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to the BC Cancer Foundation, which supports care for over 80,000 patients across the province and funds vital research efforts.
