A new runway for South Asian creativity brings Canadian South Asian designers TKC, LAKH, and Kundan Paaras to Holt Renfrew Vancouver, November 5 to 8 Media invited to an exclusive opening reception Thursday, November 5, from 6 to 8 p.m.
VANCOUVER, B.C.—For the first time, 5X and Holt Renfrew are coming together to spotlight South Asian creativity in fashion with a four-day South Asian Designer Pop-Up on Level 3 at Holt Renfrew Vancouver, November 5 to 8.
The collaboration brings together three Canadian South Asian-led contemporary brands, TKC, LAKH, and Kundan Paaras, to showcase fashion, jewelry, and culturally rooted design while creating a new platform for South Asian designers and makers at one of Canada’s leading luxury retail destinations.
Championing Panjabi and South Asian creatives is at the heart of 5X. The collaboration brings that commitment into the fashion space with Holt Renfrew, spotlighting designers and makers celebrating South Asian culture through what we wear.
“5X has always been about creating meaningful platforms for Panjabi and South Asian creatives and making sure our community’s talent is visible in the spaces shaping contemporary culture,” said Neesha Hothi, Executive Director, 5X Festival. “Working with Holt Renfrew gives us an opportunity to take that mission into a new space. These are designers creating work that is culturally rooted, contemporary, and distinctly their own, and they deserve to be discovered by audiences well beyond our community.”

TKC
Founded by Vancouver designer Taranjit Kaur Cheema, TKC celebrates South Asian culture through vibrant designs and bold Panjabi colors. Discover garments that bring her cultural heritage into the details of every piece.
LAKH
Created by sisters Lucky, Karen, and Pindie, LAKH designs jewelry with presence and releases it in small collections. Each piece is designed with intention, full of attitude, and made to feel personal. For the lifestyles of the bold and beautiful.
Kundan Paaras
A world conceived by Lavleen Kaur, Kundan Paaras explores heritage, beauty, and culture through lifestyle pieces handcrafted by the artisans of Panjab. Blending contemporary elegance with ancient artistry, the brand honours the cultivated woman, curating a life of art, ritual, and meaning.
