INTERNATIONAL ZUMBA® Next Rising Presenter Finalist TAMÁS ZSOLNAI

BRINGS HIS FIRST-EVER CANADIAN MASTERCLASS TO VANCOUVER

100% of Proceeds Donated to Pacific Autism Family Network (PAFN)

Vancouver, British Columbia
Event Date: July 18, 2026
Location: Japanese Hall, Vancouver

Vancouver will host an extraordinary international fitness and charity event this summer as Tamás Zsolnai, Hungary’s only finalist of the prestigious ZUMBA® Next Rising Presenter global competition, leads his first-ever Canadian Masterclass on July 18, 2026.

In a rare and generous gesture, 100% of all proceeds will be donated to the Pacific Autism Family Network (PAFN) to support mental health initiatives and autism services in British Columbia.

FROM A SMALL HUNGARIAN TOWN TO THE GLOBAL STAGE

Tamás Zsolnai’s journey began in Hungary, where he started teaching dance as a teenager. Originally trained as a competitive ballroom dancer, he discovered Zumba® at age 15 — a moment that would define his life’s trajectory.

By age 16, he was already teaching up to 13–14 classes per week while continuing his academic studies and competitive dance career. His natural charisma, musicality, and stage presence quickly drew international attention.

He has since taught and performed across Europe and internationally, including Spain, Slovakia, Romania, Sweden, Poland, the United States, and Taiwan. A pivotal invitation to Taiwan early in his career led to international management representation and appearances in Los Angeles and Orlando, Florida.

GLOBAL RECOGNITION: TOP FINALIST – ZUMBA® NEXT RISING PRESENTER

Tamás became a Top Finalist in the globally recognized ZUMBA® Next Rising Presenter competition, selected from more than 1,000 instructors worldwide. He remains the only Hungarian instructor in history to reach the finals.

The competition identifies elite instructors with exceptional leadership, choreography, and the ability to energize international audiences. Following his appearance at the Zumba® Convention in Orlando, invitations multiplied worldwide, solidifying his reputation as a leading international presenter.

NOW BASED IN TAIPEI, TEACHING THE WORLD

Currently based in Taipei, Taiwan, Tamás travels internationally every few months to headline major Zumba® events. Alongside his dance career, he is also a published author, having released three books with two more scheduled for publication this year.

Despite his global success, he is widely recognized for his humility, warmth, and strong connection to community.

A RARE ACT OF GENEROSITY

International Zumba® Presenters and Jammers typically command significantly higher fees than regular fitness classes. It is highly unusual for a presenter of Tamás Zsolnai’s caliber to donate an entire Masterclass to charity.

For his Canadian debut, however, Tamás has chosen to dedicate the event fully to giving back.

This initiative supports Pacific Autism Family Network (PAFN), a leading British Columbia organization promoting mental health, autism awareness, and family support services.
