As the CEO and Founder of Sapphire Events & Planners, my passion has always been to create experiences that leave everlasting memories. Diwali is very special to me , being a Sikh- born & raised in Delhi, I had the privilege of experiencing multicultural festivals. Diwali is celebrated most extravagantly across all cultures with their own unique traditions. Hence, I was ought to bring this vibrance, enthusiasm & grandeur to our city of Surrey – where diversity is our strength.
Every celebration should have its own personality and story, Diya-e-Qawali,representing light & tranquility ,tying tradition with soulful Qawali to create a magical Jashn vibe , coming together as a healthy inclusive community of families, friends and professionals in their finest festive attire creating memories and transcending our internal barriers.
Diya-e-Qawali is taking place on 30th October 2026 at the Royal King Palace & Convention Centre, from 7 PM onwards, it is literally a Grand Diwali party where you come with your friends & families- book your tables and just enjoy Shamiyana style ambiance with live Qawali by Naqsh , play poker / 3 Patti, eat sumptuous 3 course Indian meal , socialise , dance , click photos and make the brightest fondest memories with no stress of hosting or clean up, just come , enjoy and leave with most exhilarating experience of your lives.
