On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the Canadian Cultural Festival, presented by BCIT and Government of Canada, returns to the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Admission is free with registration.
This year’s festival will feature 60+ cultural food and activity experiences, live performances, local vendors and artists, FIFA-themed soccer activities, cultural workshops, family-friendly activities, a free photo booth, prize draws, and community networking.
Guests can enjoy multicultural performances, taste food from around the world, shop from local artists and small businesses, and take part in hands-on workshops such as paper-cutting and origami. Families can explore the festival together, enjoy kid-friendly activities, and take home a free printed photo keepsake from the complimentary photo booth.
Outside, the festival will also include an Outdoor Soccer Activities Zone in support of FIFA Vancouver. Guests of all ages and skill levels are welcome to join, play, and connect through movement and community fun.
One of this year’s special highlights is the Cultural Passport Stamp Challenge. Guests can visit interactive stations, collect stamps, and win prizes. Early participants will have a chance to receive premium gift bags, and registered guests will also be entered into a major raffle prize valued at over $150, along with additional sponsor giveaways.
The festival will also feature a fun Live Singles Matchmaking and Speed Dating experience, giving singles a relaxed and welcoming way to meet new people, make friends, and enjoy real conversations in person.
The Canadian Cultural Festival is more than an event — it is a place to celebrate culture, meet new people, support local talent, and enjoy a meaningful day with friends, family, and community.
Come with friends. Bring your family. Or come on your own. You may arrive as a visitor, but you could leave with new friends.
