With more than 23 years of legal experience, Pawan Joshi has built a distinguished career as a family lawyer, community advocate, and public servant dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most challenging transitions with confidence and compassion. As the Founder and Principal Lawyer of Joshi Lawyers, he leads a practice focused exclusively on family law, providing strategic and client-centred representation to families across Delta, Surrey, Langley, Vancouver, Abbotsford, and communities throughout British Columbia. His philosophy emphasizes practical solutions through mediation and negotiation while ensuring strong advocacy when litigation becomes necessary.
Pawan has served as a Tribunal Member of the BC Farm Industry Review Board, where he adjudicated complex matters involving British Columbia’s agriculture sector, including supply chain management and commodity boards, to promote fairness, transparency, and accountability in the province’s agriculture and animal welfare sectors.
Beyond the legal profession, Pawan has earned widespread respect for his commitment to strengthening the Delta community. A passionate advocate for youth and sports, he founded the Delta Patriots Cricket Club after recognizing the need for greater opportunities for local cricket enthusiasts. His leadership and persistent advocacy helped secure Delta’s first dedicated cricket pitch, creating lasting opportunities for youth, newcomers, and families to participate in the sport. Today, he also serves as a Director-at-Large with Cricket Canada, contributing to the continued growth and development of cricket across the country.
Driven by a desire to serve beyond the courtroom, Pawan is also a candidate for Delta Council as part of the One Delta team. His vision focuses on building a stronger, safer, and more connected community through responsible leadership, enhanced recreation opportunities, support for families and local businesses, and transparent governance.
